Real Confused
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
I remember when I first realized I was really a mess and needed something to change. It was the year 2000, and I had become the worst version of me I could imagine. I went to a group of people looking for help, and I had a man tell me there was a solution to my problems. I was so confused and didn't understand what that meant. I had years of pain, guilt, and shame along with a lifetime of not knowing how to live my life. I had no idea how to change anything or get on a different path. I felt hopeless and confused beyond belief.
I know there are many young and even not so young girls struggling with the same thing that I struggled with. I want to encourage you that the beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord. I had been living a life of foolishness. There was no wisdom in me. I needed To learn that there is a real God and that he has a plan for our lives. Learning God's truths began to change me. I began to have a hope for something more.
So, the solution the man was talking about was truth. The truth was that I wasn't a big mistake, and I didn't have to stay a mess. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. I was lost alright, and I needed to learn who God was and let him change me through His truth. I have learned so much since that day. Lessons that have not always been easy, but truth that has given me freedom. Freedom not only to make a choice to live for truth today, but freedom from the past pains and regrets I held on to for so many years.
If you are feeling pain, regret, or shame, and if you understand the hopelessness I mentioned, I want to challenge you to look to the Lord. Seek His truth for your life. I promise you will not regret it. Fear the Lord and set your heart to honor him in all your ways. This brings health to your body and nourishment to your souls.
About Me

- Tally
- In 2007, we started a ministry called NEAH (Not Even A Hint). Our Goal is to educate and encourage girls with God's truth. We provided what we liked to call 'NEAH events' for anyone who is interested. Through skits, music, fellowship, and lessons, we dive into what the Bible really says about purity. We tackled hard to talk about issues and shared our stories. Seeking the heart of God is such a joy. Now I am a speaker at Woman's events and I speak to girls of all ages. I still pull in the old team members and we are still loving the Lord. I also Speak at schools, small groups and churches. I can bring team members with me. If interested just send me a email. ~Seeking the heart of God~
